Description
A fine gemmy and delicately tinted lime to apple green crystal of Heliodor, a gem variety of Beryl, from the Volodarsk-Volynskii pegmatite area in Ukraine. The single Heliodor crystal measures 3.4 cm in length and displays many detailed, naturally etched surface patterns. The base of the crystal appears to be a fracture surface whilst the upper surface is a complete termination, flat, but with fine detail of crystal growth. The net weight of this large thumbnail specimen is 4 grams. This is a fine small Heliodor Beryl from the Chamber Pegmatites of Volodarsk-Volynskii.
