A rare specimen of Native Antimony from the Type Locality - Sala Silver mine, Sala, Sala Municipality, Västmanland County, Sweden. Rich, dark silvery grey, metallic, bladed Native Antimony occurs within a vein of white Calcite in this miniature-sized specimen. It is not just a rare species, but from the Type Locality too. The Sala Silver mine operated for nearly 400 years and is recorded as second only to the great Fahlun copper mine for mining importance in Sweden.
