Sphalerite on Quartz$950.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
It is extremely uncommon to see quartz from this mine and here we have a special specimen showing off sharp, lustrous sphalerite crystals against a background of small quartz, coating the limestone matrix. It is simply a sparkling and beautiful contrast, rare, and also fine for the species from the mine. Sphalerite crystals are sharp and well defined, with some color. The clusters reach 2.7 cm in size. From the worldwide collection of Germany-based collector Kurt Hefendehl. We do not know when it came out, but at a guess it is from the 1980s.
