A unique inclusions within quartz, this is a sharp single floating crystal of chalcopyrite: perfectly formed and a floater within! This special included sphere comes from new finds in Zambia, seemingly all of which are flowing to China for the strong market in spheres there. The inclusion is approximately 4 cm, and has a bright rich golden color that is obviously undimmed by exposure and tarnish from oxygen in the air. Modern material, carved within the last few years (early 2020s), this came out of a private high level collection of spheres in China. 280 grams.
