Jim Houran assembled a significant collection of USA gemstones, and each was placed alongside a significant USA gem crystal from the relevant locale. This is his choice specimen of gem amethyst that accompanied a gem from Washington state - a piece of exceptional clarity, brightness, and perfection! It was field-collected by well known collector Joe George in june 2016, and he sold it to Jim. It has a brightness and a quality that is simply shocking, absolutely exceptional for an amethyst from Washington!
