Galena, Siderite Fluorite and Calcite$800.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This exceptional combination of Galena, Siderite, Fluorite and Calcite is from the Alston Moor mines of eastern Cumbria and comes with three well known labels, those of Ralph Sutcliffe, Lindsay Greenbank and Nick Carruth. Modified cuboctahedral Galena crystals sit next to several upper faces of cubic Galena crystals to 1.5 cm. All the Galena on the display faces has an attractive bronze to slightly lilac iridescence whereas the continuation of these crystals beneath the specimen are normal silver coloured Galena. The display face is partly coated by pale brown pearly Siderite crystals and nestling between and beneath are two cubic pale lilac Fluorite crystals to 1.9 cm on edge. Having now described this specimen there appears to me a mismatch between it and the Lindsay Greenbank label, in terms of dimension and details within the description. The label curtained accompanied this specimen so we have kept them together as the match is very close.\n
