Fluorite
Huge translucent pink fluorite octahedron on a leached granite slab which was apparently a floater as evidenced by the quartz crystals (4.5 cm max) in cavities at its periphery. The fluorite crystal displays a "phantom" and is, as of the date of its discovery, one of the biggest pink fluorites from the Alps. It is unusual to find in the Swiss deposits a crystal of this size, as well formed and with points as intact as in this sample.
