Autunite (var. Meta
Perfectly formed book of tetragonal crystals developed at the tip of a thin matrix of microcrystalline cookeite, itself previously formed on a later dissolved spodumene crystal the imprint of which it kept, with small crystals of quartz formed thereafter. The autunite is bright, of a beautiful "electric" green, and well formed, which is typical of pegmatite phosphates.
