Lead
Large mass of lead crystals with microcrystalline allactite and pyrochroite in the interstices. The lead crystals, very well developed for this species, have hexagonal hopper forms, elongated fishbone shapes, or dodecahedral forms. Native lead is very rare, and it is even more unusual to find such a large and well-crystallized sample for this species. This sample, probably found in the nineteenth century (as evidenced by the very old label that accompanies it) remained in a private collection in Långban until 2019, when it was sold.
