Quartz (var. Amethyst)
Twinned white quartz covered with a second generation of microcrystallized quartz reminiscent of sugar. Each point of the twin is terminated by a transparent, very well formed amethyst crystal giving the appearance of two scepters. This rare combination of twins and scepters, typical of this mine, is one of the best and most symmetrical samples produced by it. The bottom of the twin is recrystallized.
