Pyrite
Very large iron cross twin, perfectly formed on all sides, consisting of two interlocking dodecahedra forming an angle of 90 ° between them. These crystals which are typical of this mine were thought to be limonite pseudomorphs after pyrite, but turned out actually to be pyrite crystals with a thin surface veneer of goethite.
