Brookite
Thin plate of small quartz crystals on one side of which has developed a magnificent divergent set resembling a flower consisting of many transparent amber-colored brookite blades. The underside is studded with several black and shiny bipyramidal anatase crystals (the largest measuring 1.2 cm), which are actually translucent dark blue under strong light. It is quite unusual to have on the same sample these two varieties of titanium oxide (anatase and brookite) which form at quite different temperatures.
