Herkimer Diamond Scepter
This miniature specimen is a nice “Herkimer Diamond” quartz scepter. The top scepter is transparent and glassy with a sharp termination. The black quartz stem and additional crystals on the side provide a sharp color contrast attributed to inclusions of anthraxolite (pyrobitumen).
