This miniature specimen is a lovely “Herkimer Diamond” quartz scepter. The top scepter is fully transparent and glassy with a perfect termination. The black quartz stem and additional crystals on the side provide a sharp color contrast attributed to inclusions of anthraxolite (pyrobitumen).
