This Azurite has a gorgeous, unusually saturated color and unlike most from this locality, a rosette shape. A superb, sharp rosette of deep blue Azurite from one of the classic Arizona localities. It is covered in Azurite crystals from front to back and top to bottom with vibrant azure blue crystals from 5 mm to 2.5 cm. It comes with amazing provenance from the collection of Dick Morris and Mark Hay (Arizona specialists) to Gene Meieran for his famous old drawer of Azurite roses. He had that suite by the late 1990s, and then I purchased it sometime in the early 2000s. It later went to Bill Borden, a well known collector of choice colorful Miniatures. And now, back with me for the second time in 20 years, proudly. Complete all around and contacted on bottom. All labels showing its provenance are present. A superb American Azurite!
