Titanite on Rutile after Ilmenite, Microcline
A crystal grouping of what was once ilmenite measuring 2.5 cm across and replaced by rutile is coated with lustrous green bladed crystals of titanite and set up on a feldspar matrix. This neat specimen is in great condition.
