Micro-cubic crystals (< 1 mm) of golden and sometimes iridescent Pyrite are sparsely dusted over a bed of opaque milky nail-head Calcite crystals, forming a most attractive specimen. The group of mines at Broken Hill produce a stunning suite of mineral species and this is a good representative specimen from the world-famous Zinc Corporation mine, at Broken Hill, South Wales, Australia.
