Crystalline to granular, light to dark emerald green Atacamite with glassy areas of colourless-white Cerussite cover a 3 x 2 cm central area on this rich large miniature from the Mammoth-Saint Anthony mine at Tiger in Arizona. An outer zone of crystalline to massive bright azure blue Diaboleite surrounds the Atacamite and is intergrown with Cerussite. Some bladed Diaboleite crystals are to be seen in open cavities and rare cubic microcrystals of blue Boleite are apparent on the open areas of the crystalline Cerussite. A rich and complex combination specimen from this classic American mine.
