A superb, classic old-time specimen of Native Copper from the Keweenaw Peninsular, the copper mining district in Upper Michigan, USA. This fine cabinet specimen forms a substantial cluster of intergrown Native Copper crystals with a typically rounded habit. Individual Native Copper crystals measure to 2.4 cm, with areas of Calcite and basalt on the reverse of the specimen. A tremendous crystallised Native Copper from the the Keweenaw Peninsula.
