An old German specimen from the Altenberg mining area in Saxony, Germany. Well formed lustrous tan coloured crystals of Scheelite measuring to 5mm are densely scattered and clustered over a Quartz crystal matrix. Crystals of Scheelite display a tabular habit, with lots of pyramidal development from broad tabular face. A rare specimen from the area.
