Description
Micro-crystals of creamy butter-milk Dolomite form a superb epimorph after triangular nail-head Calcite crystals of up to 1.2 cm on edge. Individual epimorphs have an equilateral triangular outer rim of radial fibrous crystals infilled with micro-rhombohedral crystals. The underside of the specimen is unusual in that the hollow casts have extended, almost stalactitic, edges forming a pendular network. An excellent and aesthetic Tsumeb epimorph.
