Galena with Calcite$950.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
A wonderful cabinet display specimen of spinel twinned Galena crystals from Dal'negorsk in the famous Kavalerovo Mining District of Primorskiy Kray in far eastern Russia. Spinel law twinning in Galena often occurs as delicate wafer-like crystals, but in this specimen, the crystals are magnificent large prisms measuring to 3.5 x 3.3 x 1.7 cm with mirror-bright, metallic silver-grey faces. These crystals have formed an intergrown group, some faces of which are coated in patches of micro-crystalline creamy-white Calcite.
