Beryl var. Aquamarine with Albite var. Cleavelandite$6,000.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
A well-formed gemmy crystal of Aquamarine Beryl to 2.4 cm nestles amongst intergrown rounded blades of white Albite Feldspar of the variety Cleavelandite and occasional Muscovite Mica crystals. This rare miniature is from the Fano mine in Riverside County, California, a rare-earth-element and gemstone producing pegmatite, discovered in 1902. The hexagonal Aquamarine crystal has an alternating symmetry of wide and narrow faces making it more triangular in cross section with some corners of the pinacoid-prism interface showing slight modifications. The prism is a mixture of colourless to pale watery bluish-green Beryl with all prism faces naturally frosted by a combination of growth patterns and natural etching. The pinacoid termination is complexly patterned with geometric forms and circular to ovoid-shaped markings, all with a mirror-like glassy lustre.
