Dyscrasite on NATIVE Arsenic$1,200.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This is a quite remarkable miniature of wonderfully crystallised Dyscrasite on sooty dark grey Native Arsenic from Uranium Mine No. 21 in the Pr'bram mining district of the Czech Republic. Dyscrasite is a silver antimonide which in this specimen forms greyish silver acicular crystals to almost 3 cm long. They have a dull metallic to matt lustre and are striated parallel to their length. These project out from a central core of matt dark grey (almost black) Native Arsenic and care must be taken when handling the specimen to prevent the breakage of crystals. It can be supported from beneath without fear of damage. This is an excellent example of a rare silver species and a fine example of Native Arsenic.
