A superb display of lustrous gemmy-translucent Calcite crystals from Tsumeb mine in Namibia. Sharply developed fine rhombic crystals of Calcite measuring to nearly 3 cm on edge are aesthetically aggregated over a matrix of a Calcite vein coloured by reddish Goethite and green Duftite-Conichalcite. The Calcite crystals are colourless grading to a milky-white centre and all display a fine glassy lustre. Calcite is one of those minerals found at Tsumeb which forms numerous habits and associations and this is a very fine example.
