A pair of jet-black Schorl crystals, both with perfect terminations, are bridged towards their bases by finely crystallised Albite of the variety 'Cleavelandite', with embedded crystals of Topaz. From the pegmatites around the village of Shengus in the Haramosh Mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan; Gilgit-Baltistan being what was formerly named the 'Northern Areas'.
