Perfectly developed, metallic black Descloizite crystals to 2.0 x 1.0 x 0.3 cm form a very aesthetic miniature from the world famous Berg Aukas mine in the Grootfontein District of Namibia. The Descloizite crystals form elegant spear-like blades, many with pine-tree profile type habits and groups forming V-shaped castellated ridges. Deep salmon-orange micro Dolomite crystals cluster around the specimen and some Descloizite faces are tinted deep salmon by coatings of micro-crystalline Dolomite. A very choice Descloizite from the Berg Aukas mine and would make a fine addition to the most specialist of Descloizite collections.\n
