Tourmaline with Quartz and Cleavelandite
A well-formed very dark green prismatic crystal of Tourmaline measuring to 6.5cm, with a zone of bottle green colour at the termination. The crystal of double terminated Tourmaline pierces through a double terminated tabular crystal of translucent white-grey Quartz. Later formed platy white crystals of Albite have grown about the Tourmaline crystal. To one side of the Albite crystals is a lustrous 1.2cm cluster of twinned black Cassiterite. A fine combination specimen from the Fisher and Kureczka Collection.
