A beautiful bright specimen of long slender prismatic Calcite crystals from Iron Mining area of Egremont, Cumbria. The colourless gemmy to translucent white Calcite crystals measure to 2cm, and are orientated at various angles over the matrix. The matrix is a creamy to reddish Dolomite breccia cemented together by the crystals of Calcite. An unusual specimen of Calcite from the area.
