A very characteristic large miniature of Wulfenite from the famous Erupción mine in the Los Lamentos Mountains of Chihuahua, Mexico. Fine open form, thick tabular crystals of Wulfenite with the classic sandwiched colours of vibrant tangerine centres with butterscotch toffee outer faces. These measure to 1.6 cm and are associated with lustrous reddish-brown patches of Vanadinite micro-crystals. Some edges of the Wulfenite crystals are lightly covered in a minute druse of brown Descloizite. A fine specimen from the late Michael P. Cooper collection with his label.
