A super gemmy single crystal of Topaz from the Ratin Gabbas area of Nigeria. The Topaz crystal measures to a notable 7.5 cm tall and is well formed with an excellent termination which shows etching to the upper halves of the termination faces. These growth patterns appear as two dimensional stacked, offset pyramids. The prism is a gorgeous pastel cornflower-aquamarine blue, with lustrous glassy faces. The Topaz crystal is gemmy throughout, allowing the reading of fine text in almost any direction through the prism. A great Nigerian Topaz and a beautiful crystal to put on display.
