Wulfenite with Pyromorphite$1,200.00

It is not very often that you see specimens of Wulfenite from Rusca Montană, in Romania available and there is a reason - they tend to be very old and only in historic museum collections. This beautiful large miniature to small cabinet specimen is one of these older pieces. It is accompanied by a lovely old handwritten label (with the appearance of 19th century) recording the locality as "Ruszkikya, Ungarn" from when the locality was within Hungary. It consists of a porous white Quartz-Galena matrix coated with microcrystalline pale green Pyromorphite upon which are richly scattered contrasting bright orange-red platy Wulfenite crystals. This is not only a wonderful historic specimen but it is extremely rich and showy too.
