A gorgeous and superbly arranged cluster of elongate prismatic Calcite crystals with 'nail-head' terminations, from Chenzhou Prefecture in China, a specimen reminiscent of the fine classic Calcites of this habit from Cumbria, UK. The crystals are transparent and have a mouth watering 'wet look' lustre with the largest crystal having developed to 6 cm in length. All crystals have mirror-smooth prism faces and striated terminations. This is an impressive and very displayable Chinese Calcite.
