Conichalcite pseudomorph after Calcite$850.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
A superb small miniature of limey-apple-green Conichalcite pseudomorphing after Calcite as 2 to 3 mm, outwardly pointing, distorted rhombohedral blades. From the Lavrion mining district on the Attica Peninsular in Greece and, more specifically, likely the Kamariza mines, now known as the Agios Konstantinos mining district. The specimen is essentially two spherical groups of Conichalcite pseudomorphs, the smaller mounted on top of the larger. Specimens such as this are very rarely seen and this will make an excellent addition to any Lavrion/Kamariza collection.
