Description
A now uncommon Scheelite crystal specimen from the Tae Hwa Mine, South Korea. Specimens of Scheelite were on the market in the early 1970s the mine was closed in 1973. The specimen we have is characteristic of the find as a single highly lustrous pyramidal crystal measuring to 3.8cm, with a deep brown colour. The Scheelite is associated with a rhombic crystal of creamy white Calcite to one side, and saddle habit Dolomite to other edge.
