A rich specimen of blocky Anglesite crystals covering the top of a tarnished Galena matrix from Bage mine at Cromford in Derbyshire, England. This cannot be described as a pretty specimen, a common characteristic of many of the minerals found at this classic mine. The Anglesite crystals measure to 1 cm tall and are a translucent lemon tinged-cream to colourless. Many of the crystals show damage, but again this is typical for these extremely rare specimens from Bage mine and this remains a very fine and rich Bage Anglesite.
