A very rich specimen of the very rare mineral Gerhardtite, a copper nitrate hydroxide, from the Likasi mine in the Katanga Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Excellent intergrown cleavages of Gerhardtite measuring to 8 mm form lustrous dark emerald green plates over a 5.5 x 2.9 cm area associated with pastel blue-white Chrysocolla on a dense-crystalline Cuprite matrix. From a find at Likasi in the late twenty-teens (e.g. around 2018).
