A beautifully bright metallic golden-yellow Native Gold from a find made at the Crystalline mine in California, USA, in 1991. This fine specimen displays an excellent compact sheet of Native Gold of approximately 4.5 cm high and roughly tapering from 3 to 2.5 cm wide from bottom to top. The somewhat botryoidal surface of the sheet shows an occasional crystallized surface. It should also be pointed out the sheet is relatively thick and therefore substantial, so does not flex when handled. The specimen has a net weight of 24 grams and comes mounted vertically on a square colourless acrylic base. This is a superb specimen with a very 'solid' look and feel to it, despite being a sheet!
