A beautiful cabinet specimen of botryoidal siskin lime green Pyromorphite with a highly lustrous sparkling surface covering a matrix of ferruginous sugary Quartz and Pyromorphite. This magnificent specimen is from Asprières in Aveyron, in the Occitanie region of France. The pyromorphite from this area occurs in many habits and colours and although there are several mines in this district it in not possible to state just which one this is from. The combination of its relatively large size, aesthetic colour, bright lustre and attractive habit make this a most desirable specimen for display.
