A classic large miniature specimen of Neptunite from the Dallas Gem Mine, California, USA. The specimen has an overall appearance of a shallow bowl, richly decorated with sharp prismatic well terminated crystals of Neptunite. The Neptunite crystals reach 2.3 cm in length and are lustrous black, set against a contrasting matt white Natrolite. Two orange brown micro crystals of Joaquinite-(Ce) are to be seen along with a partly revealed crystal of pale blue Benitoite. A classic specimen of Neptunite and its associates, from this celebrated location.
