A nice elongated cluster of Amethyst Quartz, with a little attached etched snow-white Quartz, from Horn' Slavkov in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic. The Amethyst is a good, deep mauve with deep purple zones within the crystals. Only the hexagonal terminations are present, as these emerge directly from a plate of Quartz, without prism faces. All crystals are well terminated with the largest measuring around 2 cm across.
