I think if Batman’s sidekick Robin, the Boy Wonder, were to see this Pyromorphite from Les Farges mine, cries of Holy Macaroni or the like may resound! Wow, what a drop-dead gorgeous specimen this is! Lustrous, Pyromorphite crystals of dark, soupy pea green measuring to 1 cm, are topped-off with bright, vibrant lemon-yellow, flat terminations. The contrast is stunning! Pyromorphite almost entirely covers the whole dark brown gossan matrix, over all faces of this irregular-shaped cabinet specimen. This is yet another stunning example of the seeming infinite variations of Pyromorphite from Les Farges mine at Ussel, France; one of the finest sources of magnificent Pyromorphite in the world. This specimen is stupendous, viewed either close-up and from afar.
