Approximately 50 to 60 light tan crystals of the calcium tungstate Scheelite are clustered to form a 4.5 cm long band over the prism face of an opaque milky Quartz part-crystal which forms the matrix. The specimen is from the C'novec / Zinnwald deposit that spans the Erzgebirge / Krusn' Hory Mountains of the Saxony and 'steck' Regions of Germany and the Czech Republic.
