A superb and large cabinet specimen of bright, duck-egg to sky blue, botryoidal Hemimorphite covering most of the display surface. Measuring overall to 13.2 cm and encrusting a light off-white to cream coloured altered Limestone matrix, this superb specimen is from the Esmeralda mine at Magistral in Durango, Mexico, a mine renowned for Hemimorphite of this form and colour. The botryoidal mounds average between 0.5 to almost 2 cm diameter and display a beautiful silky micro-texture, surface-translucency and silky lustre. The specimen comes with a purpose made acrylic stand with a milled, contoured recess to accommodate the specimen's base. A stunning display piece of wonderfully coloured Mexican Hemimorphite.
