This rich small miniature specimen of Tsumcorite is from its type locality at the Tsumeb mine in Namibia. This name derives from the Tsumeb Corporation, abbreviated to Tsumcor, and was discovered in 1971. A fine crystal druse of micro-bladed bright yellow to orange-golden-yellow Tsumcorite has formed over most of a ferruginous Dolomite matrix. The accompanying German label records the specimen was found in the 2nd Oxidation Zone on 30 Level. The specimen is superb under magnification.
