Classic blue crystals of double terminated Baryte on Dolomite from the Iron mining area at Egremont, Cumbria. Lustrous translucent to gemmy bladed crystals display abundant parallel growth with typical chisel termination, the group measuring overall to 7cm. Crystals of Baryte have formed on creamy coloured intergrown saddle habit crystals of Dolomite with areas of reddish-black Hematite. A fine specimen of blue Baryte from the area.
