Pyrargyrite
The silver sulphosalt, Pyrargyrite, richly covers and pervades a light grey granular Quartz matrix from Lill mine in the B?ezov' Hory ore region of P?'bram in the Czech Republic. Metallic, silver crystals with a bright, highly reflective lustre encrust the top surface, occurring as plates and thick acicular forms amongst well developed, glassy microcrystals of Quartz. The Pyrargyrite crystals occasionally display multi-coloured iridescence and the largest crystal measures approximately 5 x 5 x 1 mm. Granular carmine-red Pyrargyrite occurs on the matrix. This comes with a printed and typed A. Berger (Wien-M'dling) label.
