A lovely small miniature of sceptred smoky Quartz from the Erongo granite occurrence on Tubussis Farm 22 in the Karibib District of Erongo, Namibia. The double-terminated sceptre head is 2 cm wide by 1.8 cm high and sits on a downwardly emerging hexagonal Quartz stem. Three much smaller double-terminated Quartz crystals are attached epitaxially to the main crystal. The quartz is reasonably lustrous with a variable degree of smoky colouration, grading from pale to dark tan-grey.
