An aesthetic and impressive semi-transparent colourless Fluorite crystal measuring 2.4 x 2.2 x 1.6 cm sits neatly on top of a small plate of crystallised milky Quartz with occasional 2 to 4 mm Pyrite cubic crystals scattered over. The specimen is from Schönbrunn in Vogtland, Saxony, Germany. What makes this a particularly interesting specimen is within the Fluorite crystal can be seen bevelled-edged tabular crystals of what appears to be Baryte. An unusual and most appealing specimen.
