A superb large miniature or small cabinet specimen of classic Native Silver from the Kongsberg mining area at Svene in Buskerud, Norway. An upright development of Native Silver forming crystallized wires in parallel growth measure to 3.9 cm and stand proud of the characteristic white Calcite matrix. The Native Silver is a fine metallic silver with a slightly yellowish tint. It is a beautiful example of Native Silver from the world-famous Kongsberg mining district and comes with an old label.
